Surrendering Your Pet

We are currently receiving an incredibly high volume of pet surrender requests. At this time, we will only be able to consider pets adopted from Angel of Hope. If you have kittens, or puppies or dogs, you are still welcome to fill out a surrender form, just please be aware that we will have to put you on a wait list until we have the capacity, fosters and resources necessary to ensure the well being and health of your pet. Please be patient with our response.

To surrender a kitten or a cat, please fill out the Cat Surrender Form.

To surrender a puppy or a dog, please fill out the Dog Surrender Form.

Surrendering Your Pet

We are currently receiving an incredibly high volume of cat surrender requests. Please be patient with our response. The first step in surrendering your pet, is to fill out a Surrender Form. Submitting this form does not guarantee that we will be able to take your pet. Acceptance into our cat/kitten program is dependent upon whether or not we have appropriate foster care for that animal’s needs and whether or not we have the resources necessary to ensure their health.

Acceptance into our dog/puppy program is also dependent upon whether or not we have appropriate foster care for that animal’s needs and whether or not we have the resources necessary to ensure their health. Our dog/puppy program is very small, but we are working on expanding it to help as many dogs and puppies and we can.

Please note: Angel of Hope does not have the ability to take in animals with a significant bite history.

Priority

  1. Pets adopted from Angel of Hope are given first priority.

  2. Pets from local impounds that are in danger of euthanasia are our second priority.

  3. And owner surrenders are our third priority.

Strays & Ferals

Angel of Hope asks that if you find a stray cat, that you please go through your local impound to help better the chances of that animal finding their home.

We do not take in any feral cats as most of them have been outside their whole lives, and do not do well being handled by humans. At this time, Angel of Hope does not have the resources to run a TNR program.

Immediate Surrender Services

We cannot provide immediate surrender services. We are a foster-based rescue, and it can take several weeks or longer to find a foster home for your pet.  If you have a pet who needs immediate placement, please try contacting the following:
